MS, 2024 - Present
My name is Abby Roche, I am a senior undergraduate in the Marine Community Ecology Lab from Cleveland, Ohio. I joined this lab as a freshman in fall of 2020 and have been met with incredible opportunities constantly since! From caring for marine animals in the lab to muddy fieldwork days, we do it all. I've been lucky enough to do my own research titled Investigating Benthic Communities Amongst the Northern Gulf of Mexico's Hypoxia Ridden Dead Zone. After I graduate, I plan to pursue a masters degree under Dr. Glaspie studying benthic invertebrates on different shipwreck sites in the Mississippi River Delta.

I am a senior pursuing a bachelor’s in coast and environmental sciences. I am from central Missouri and hope to continue my education at Louisiana State University by pursing a master’s after I graduate. Outside of school I enjoy working on my family’s farm and playing music around Missouri and Louisiana.
